Etv’s Home gourmet was launched as the only food and lifestyle based English language television program of its time audience with discerning tastes .

The program takes you on a gastronomical journey in to the Art of Food. The first of its kind on Sri Lankan TV Home gourmet features the works renowned chefs of Sri Lanka. It's not just cookery show, but a total dinning experience featuring even aspects like the finer points in entertaining guests and dinning.

The over-night success of the program led ETV to produce 4 successive seasons of Home Gourmet .

This program was initially hosted by an Nimmi Harasgama and subsequently by Minoli Rtanayake of ETV Power Women Fame.

Home Gourmet appealed both to the sophisticated tastes and expectations audiences who had a passion for cooking .and the finer things in life.
